Will the radios we have today be here 25 years from now or will they be mysterious to us? Radios have been around for many years. From the old huge radios, to the radios in cars, little carry around radios, and apps that play to radio on your phone or computer. Throughout the years, radios have become popular with the news, new music, sports, etc. But, even if we describe this object and it's purpose, someone in the future may not understand.

     The topic explained, the radio, may or may not be around 25-30 years into the future. In 2030, the radios today may or may not appear to mysterious to the world. Because, looking at how life around us goes around today, could change in a flash. Life today with radios it's usually a app used on the phones or radios in cars. Seeing how scientist or techs ( whatever they are) are experimenting with new electronical things, you could tell life would not be anything  without electronical  devices. Back to explaining, 25 years from now, radios in my opinion would probably be around just maybe called something else or very updated from what it is today.

     You may not know of the term phones, but back in March 10, 1876 when the idea of a long distance voice devise came out, it was very popular.  In 2040, the phone would be mysterious to society because technology has advanced far past that.  You probably have no clue what dim talking about, but from mid-1800s all the way to early 2000s every body knew what they were and everybody had them. They were a big part of our daily lives and our jobs.  The following will cover the description of the purpose and appearance of phones as if to a futureistic person who has no knowledge of phones.

     There are many different appearences through out nearly 200 years.  Back then when phones first came out they were constantly plugged into an electrical outlook to be powered.  They were very large boxes attached to a handle shaped device attached with some sort of cord to the large box.  Later in 1900s , it became more rectangle shaped with a much smaller size and some without the large box being portable but needing to be charged.  In the early 2000s, they became thinner and thinner like a couple millimeters or less and were long and half as wide nearly (rectangle shaped).  That is the description of how phones looked through out the 200 years.

     As the device slowly advanced, it became able to do more things. The original purpose was to call or talk through the device from long distances. But in 2000s, it became able to text, listen to music, access internet (a way to access information), play games

                         Skateboards to our future generation

            

             Are skateboards old to society today?Do you even know what a skateboard is?For example in the future lets say in 2040, skateboards can be replaced with hoverboards since they have already developed one and eventually be available to the public.Could it be possible that in the future that a skateboard can become unknown to society and even you?As we grow old and time goes by things come by and go away.Skateboards can be popular today or at least people know what a skateboard.It may be mysterious in the future when its probably going to be all about hoverboards or something more advanced then a hoverboard since technology is changing everyday.Even if we describe this object and its purpose,someone in the future may not understand what it is.

            What is a skateboard?A skateboard is a wooden piece of wood with two wheels in the front and the back.As years have gone by skateboards have changed over the years.Like a Banana board.It has one wheel in the front and another in the back.Skateboards have been out in the 50's and have advanced in different ways.

            What is the purpose of a skateboard?The purpose of a skateboard is for a Skateboarding.Skateboarding is a sport that involves air tricks and maneuvers.As time has gone by BMX bikes and scooters can be used for skateboarding.Tournaments can be held for skateboarding.One of these competitive tournaments are the X games.

             So what do you think?Even if we describe this object and its purpose,someone in the future may not no what it is.Maybe skateboards may or may not be known.I personally think skateboards might and might not not forgotten. Hoverboards can replace skateboards.Then again a skateboard might be in the Smithsonian museum or any museum.

     Have you ever wondered if everyday things like a piece of paper or a pencil could become an artifact of the past in 20 to 30 years from now? Could our ancestors have thought the same? Imagine a child from the future would he know what paper was? If you were to describe an object of the past to the citizens of the future the probably would not understand, or care. 

 Paper for instance, the white thin sheet of paper used everyday. In the future kids probably would not understand what paper is. Since it would be ancient. Many of the elderly would probably tell their grandchildren about paper but would they care? Maybe paper wouldn't even be used in school anymore. The students might even use tablets instead. Paper would be forgotten. No one would know what it is.

It would be permanently an artifact for the decades. Being discovered way later in the future.

Anyone would not understand paper's color, uses, and types. Trees would be aplenty and abundant in the future.

         Do you think iPhones are going to be mysterious in the future?  iPhones are really popular and commonly used.  In 2040, iPhones would be mysterious to society.  This is because they will probably have more advaned technology in the future.  Even if we describe this object and its purpose someone may still not understand what it is.

        What does an iPhone look like?  iPhones come in many different sizes and colors.  You can get blue, green, pink, white, black, yellow, gold, rose gold, silver, and ect.  The sizes range from 3.5" to 5.5".  They are rectangular and have an apple logo in the center of the back. You can plug headphones and chargers into an iPhone. On the back of the iPhone it says iPhone and where it was designed.  Does this give you a better understanding of what an iPhone looks like?

          What is the purpose of the iPhone today?  iPhones are used for communicating such as calling and texting.  An iPhone can take many pictures no matter where you are. iPhones also have apps such as games and social media.  iPhone can be used as radios.  iTunes keeps all of your music together.  You can even organize your library however

     According to the article, "Artifacts Around Us", states, "We're used to thinking of artifacts as ancient objects." Actually, artifacts were once known as modern day objects before they were outdated with the newer version of the product. For example, the paperback book will be mysterious in 2040 because of the rapid development of advanced technology. Popular apps like Wattpad are available in app stores on mobile devices and everyone reads and writes on there nowadays. You could spend large amounts of time describing this object and its purpose, but it may still be unknown to people in the future.
     The paperback book can be described in various ways. It is mostly known for its appealing, bright colors. Although, they are recognized for their interesting summaries. Also, some people even prefer thicker books that contain words in a smaller font and a doubled amount of pages. Books are even noticed depending on the author. Overall, people find them fascinating from their covers to their summaries.
     These books also hold a ton of purpose. Paperback books are usually used for entertainment or to fill  in spare time. Others, though, use paperback books to educate their students or children. The children are taught how to write using correct English and complete work that is book-related. These books are also support to help a child become successful in the English subject. Paperback books are still used as teaching tools and entertainment world-wide.
      Paperback books have a simple description and an increasing amount of purpose but are predicted to be uncommon and outdated in the future.       What if someone from 2040 appeared in front of you? What would they see that will be mysterious to them? They would probably see many things that will make them go "What is that?". Gasoline Will Be Mysterious

      Have you ever thought that the things we use today will be unheard of in the future? Gas is one of those things. For example in 2040, gas will be mysterious because it is a nonrenewable resource. Therefore, by the time 2040 arrives there will be no more gas. Also engineers are starting to make advancements with hybrid cars , which are cars powered by water. Since hybrid cars are becoming more popular, and they are better for the environment, they might replace gasoline by the year 2040. Even if we describe gas and its purpose someone in the future may not understand what it is.

     Gasoline has particular appearance like everything else in the world. It is clear , or colorless. Gas is also a liquid. Some people describe the smell as an intoxicating smell that makes you nauseous. Others think that the smell is pleasant , and they actually enjoy smelling it. There is not much more descriptions of gasoline as far as its appearance because not many people have seen it.

     The second thing that gas has is a purpose which is what it is used for. Typically gas is used to fuel internal combustion engines for cars, motorbikes, trucks, boats, and other transport vehicles. Without gasoline there

     Have you ever wondered about what people could think of books in the future. Books have been around for a really,really,really long time. They have been used for many purposes. But books could become mysterious to people in the future. For example, in 2040, books would be mysterious to society because books may stop being published and only the internet and youtube would be used to look things up. Another example is Encyclopedia Britannica which started in 1786, but ended in 2010, and turned onto a single website. Books take on many appearances and purposes. Even if we describe the book and its purpose, someone int he future they may not understand what it is. Within this essay there are two main details on books.

     One detail on books are their appearances. Books can vary in shapes and sizes. Books can be square, rectangular, long, tall, normal sized, etc. They have hard or paperback covers and have paper in between. Books can also have protection on them. They can have protecters with the title and or picture. Books also have different appearances on the inside. They can be nothing but but pictures or nothing but words. Also,they can be both a good combination of words and pictures. Most of all books have an index and a context. Most books have a spine, front, and back. In conclusion books can have many appearances.

What does pollution do to our world? I think that pollution can kill the world around us.  It causes harm to animals, the air we breathe, and the oceans.  Some of the more common types of pollution you hear about on the news are oil pollution, littering and air pollution. There are also many solutions for all of theses things, such as oil collection, proper disposal of trash, and carpooling.

    One solution for oil pollution is oil collection. For instance, when people get their oil changed they  can spill generas . Some people just dump the used oil on the ground. As a result, when it rains the oil runs into ditches, creeks, rivers, and oceans. Even a small oil spill is a problem because animals could drink it and they could die. If you happen to spill oil, one way to collect it would be to absorb it with kitty litter then dispose of it properly. Another solution is to collect it in a container when you are changing your oil and take it to a recycling center or auto parts store. One more solution would be to raise awareness in your town or community through flyers and posters about collecting oil properly.

      Littering is one of the worst things that contribute to the pollution in the world. Some people will just throw their trash out of the car window because they don't have a trash can to put their trash in. Cigarette butts are the most polluted thing in the world today. Over five trillion are thrown out each year. One of the things you can do to help this problem is to keep a small bag or can in your car to keep the trash to throw away later when you find a trash can. Another solution is to put recycling bins with an ashtray on top of it outside all buildings.  Most buildings are smoke free on the inside so people have to go outside to smoke.  It would encourage people to throw their cigarette butts away instead of throwing them on the ground and would give them a place to properly put their trash.   

      Air pollution is the most common type of pollution. It is in our lives everyday because of cars, factories, and much more. Air pollution is not just harmful to the world but to people too. Polluted air can make people really sick. Carpooling is a way to cut down on air pollution. Not a lot of people carpool because they don’t have a good place to meet and leave their cars.  Setting up specific carpooling parking lots that the police patrol would make people feel better about leaving their cars all day. In some cities, if you carpool then you can drive in the faster lanes and get to where you are going faster.  By having more people in a car it reduces the number of vehicles on the road that pollute the air and can even save time.

Pollution affects all of us.   Most people do not think about it everyday because they do not always see it with their own eyes. Just because they do not see it does not mean it’s not hurting them or the things around them.  We cannot stop oil pollution, littering or air pollution really quick. What we can do is the small things like suggested.  If people start carpooling, stop littering, and increase oil collection then we will have a less polluted world to live in.

                 There are many problems in america's electoral system. Apathy is one of them. Apathy is the act of not caring, and most americans ages 18-29 do not care about the future of the united states unless it directly affects them. Just look at the facts.

                  I asked a few students around the school if they cared about politics or even who is elected president. The best answer i was able to recieve was, "a little." A little is not going to save americas from the finacial crisis it is already in. A little is not going to save the world from running out of oil. That is why we need to educate our children about the electoral system. So when it is time for them to vote they can make an educated decision.

                 Another solution to this problem is compulsory voting, or mandatory voting. The idea would be like this "anybody who is a legal citizen of the united states has to vote."  People act like this is a crazy idea, but this law is commonly used throughout many countries which has made them very successful and prosperous. The easiest way to enforce this would be to if you did not vote you receive minimum or maximum punishment for if you have voted or not in the last four year session.

Now, you maybe wondering how teaching adolescents the importance of voting and then forcing them to vote fixes their apathy. Just wait. Both solutions are a combination. Teaching younger people about politics gets them thinking about politics. As they grow older to the age they can can vote they understand how the system works.

     How do you get good grades? To get good grades there are a lot of things to do. First of all, think about    if you want to get good grades. Getting, or improving good grades is not just you trying to make 1 A in class, and then be done. When you are practicing for a good game against the best team, you have to be ready. So today, I am going to give you ideas, and tips to help you. 

     How does organization help me? If you are organized you can find everything that you need. Including, papers, and also old quizzes. Being organized can help you with a lot of things in life and mostly in school. So to start off organize your binder. For instance, if you know that you just made a bad grade on a test, then you can use that paper to understand what you missed. That is some ways organization can help you out.
     Can I go to tutoring when I have a chance? Tutoring can help anyone no matter what class your in. If you are struggling go to tutoring. Do not be embarrassed, it is for your good. If you take test, and do not understand when you finish go to tutoring. Am I trying my hardest, and going to tutoring?
     Are you speaking up in class? Speaking up  in class means to ask questions if you do not understand something. Asking questions will help you understand better. If you do ask a question make sure you are being serious, and it is about the topic in class. Do not ask questions just to get an answer. That is not helping

I believe one problem is the Millington TN safety. I think that Millington could add more safety procedures and security. One way is by adding more neighborhood watches .Another way is by adding more police officers on patrol and watch. The last way i believe can help is by adding more security

  The first way is a neighborhood watch, which is when a group of people who protect a neighborhood. More neighborhoods can be built with bigger house.   How can you improve bad grades? Well there are multiple ways to solve this problem. Most Children struggle with grades and never solve their problems. If you are having problem with your grades then, your could either go to your teacher, Study way more, go to tutoring, or even ask a family member for help. In the next four paragraphs I will explain the simple ways of how to solve your problems to the bad grades you have. 

     The first way to turn those bad grades right side up is to go to one of your teachers' or just the teacher that teaches the class you are struggling in, You may ask him/her for extra credit or if your could re-take the assignment. ( example: tests.) But if it's an assignment you could ask the teacher to help you understand that subject more. If it's a test in my point of view i would say  study  before you ask the teacher for a redo.

     If you were absent then you would ask your teachers' what assignments you missed and how to do them, after the classes, or school day. After you made up those assignments, if you got a bad grade I think your teacher should Understand that you were absent that day and you really didn't understand. Your teacher may or may not let you re-take that assignment. All test are different, some are very important and some aren't that important. If you missed a very important test you have to take it the following day. If not important, more than likely you don't have to take it.
     Also, another solution to solving the problem is to study more. Teacher ALWAYS tell you to study your vocabulary or study a passage with questions. There are multiple ways to study. One is making flash cards, It's one of the easy, simple ways to studying. You would make them first and then study them. When your ready to be tested, ask a family member to test you. And the

                                              Uniforms

         Ugh!You come to school, and you see everybody wearing the same clothes. Are these clothes trending? NO. These are uniforms, uniforms that you have to wear everyday for the rest of the school year. But these uniforms are not that bad but not that good either. They give you some benefits, and then some  unfortunate consequences.

             When your parents buy uniforms they save money. Since your parents only need to buy one set of uniforms a year it reduces the amount of money they spend. With this left over money they can buy you more things. So this money has many benefits to us and the parents.
             Uniforms take away individuality from students. By wearing uniforms they make us look alike. We are not free to express ourselves in any manor.

Global warming is an issue that affects all life on earth, and can cause damage to multiple

Carbon Dioxide is a necessary ingredient for plants to perform photosynthesis, but too much Carbon Dioxide can be harmful to animals, plants and humans.Why is this? Carbon Dioxide traps the sun’s rays in the atmosphere causing higher temperature in both winter and summer months. In fact, the global average temperature increased by more than 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit  over the last century. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the decade from 2000 to 2010 was the warmest on record.

    The sun has natural periods of warming and cooling,but due to no increase in solar energy for the past 50 years the warming we are feeling is consistent with the amount of carbon dioxide and other heat trapping elements we are putting into the atmosphere. Warmer temperatures increases the amount of water vapor in the air. Water vapor is a greenhouse gas, along with carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone, meaning that it leads to even further warming. Water vapor magnifies the warming caused by the other greenhouse gases.

     A change of just one or two degrees may sound small,but it creates a huge impact on the way we and the living things around us act and survive. For about every 2 degrees Fahrenheit of warming 15% of the crops we grow will die, there will be a 10% increase in the amount of rain falling during the heaviest precipitation events, and a 400% increase in the amount of wildfires in parts of the western United States.

     Many people do not care about climate change or just don’t think it is really happening, but there are ways you can help slow it down or even stop global warming.For example, Transportation causes about 25 per cent of the United State’s greenhouse gas emissions, so walk, cycle or take transit whenever you can. You will save money and get into better shape! Another example of how to prevent climate change is, switching off lights,change light bulbs to compact fluorescent or LED's, unplug computers, TVs and other electronics when not in use, and wash clothes in cold or warm (not hot) water.

        Climate change is affecting the way we live, how animals live, and even how plants live.Because of the sun’s consistency when it comes to the amount of heat it gives off, people are making our world warmer.A slight change in temperature can cause major problems like dying crops.There are many ways to stop or slow global warming and we are yet to find out more.

     Have you ever spent the weekend at the mall buying new shoes or a new accessory and want to flaunt it around school the next day? When you get the school the following morning, you get picked on because they "are not fashionable". Bullying causes many problems, such as depression and decreases in grades, but there are many solutions too.
     One reason that bullying is a problem is that it cause depression. This is the main consequence that results in bullying. People learn to hate themselves because someone made a remark about someone's weight and height. Millions commit suicide because of the way they are treated. Some even gain eating disorders.
     Sometimes bullying can result in people losing the ability to be themselves. Every second of the day, they are anxious to fit in. They change their appearance, personality, and even their attitude. It is completely abnormal for someone to alter themselves.

                           Not having world peace causes many conflicts around the world and until it is resolved the other countries thru the world will not get along. World peace is an ongoing process which will take a long time to achieve. Terrorism, seeing another's point of view, or respecting other's religions are all examples of how the world will never be the same.

                         Countries throughout the world have their own religion. Apparently, many countries criticize their religions just because how they worship or pray. To resolve the conflict, allowing others to practice their own religion should try to be understood.


                         There are hostel people and groups who believe in a cause so strongly, they will go to any length to make others listen. This form of behavior terrorizes many countries. The terrorists within these groups need to understand violent behavior will not be tolerated. Their voices could be heard within small meetings with people involved.

          Most people try to act perfect. Key word, try. The truth of the matter is no one is perfect. No matter how many A's you make or how many likes you get on social media, you'll never be perfect. For some particular reason that fact alone never seems to process right in the human mind. Most of us let our insecurities consume our personalities. When you let your insecurities weaken you, someone will always take that advantage and use what you hate most about yourself against you. However, the reason they bully you is because they are insecure, confused, and sometimes hurt. Although, the difference between the victim and the bully is that the bully uses your insecurities against you to make hurt just as much as they do. Maybe even more.

        I have a few tips and solutions for all groups. The Victim, The Bully, and The Bystander. Obviously i'm going to do the victim first because they have the worst. First of all, obtain some confidence. A bully will go to the first person he/she sees with even a little lack of self-confidence. Plus confidence is always going to be a great

                                                Homeless and hungry

     Hey want to know something.About 33% of people are homeless and hungry in the use only, as of 2013 and counting.we need to STOP this right now, the next person might be YOU.This number is on the rise and fast.If we don't do any thing,we could be looking at 49%

     We should help and donate something that will help the homeless and hungry have somthing to eat,have a roof over their head,and help them have a job or at least apply for one.As of right now of the homeless and hungry

     What can we do for major illnesses.  To this day in 2015 there is not enough done for sick kids, cancers and sicknesses are still a major problem and as we said more should be done.  We are here to talk about how not enough is done for sick kids and more people need  to pay attention to this major problem and we have started this program to address the problem with 3 different devisions of the program you the people can join to help.  Every day kids die from sicknesses and cancer an its sad that we do not put more effort into helping them get through this and once there through, help them catch up for their lost time in their lives.  This program as i keep saying is based on the fact of helping sick kids whose parents or gaurdians cannot afford the treatments necessary for the children and much more.  This is a global problem that needs to be addressed in any nation/country of this great world.

      Climate change is cau

Carbon Dioxide is a necessary ingredient for plants to perform photosynthesis, but too much carbon dioxide can be harmful to animals, plants and humans.Why is this? Carbon Dioxide traps the sun’s rays in the atmosphere causing higher temperature in both winter and summer months. In fact, the global average temperature increased by more than 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit  over the last century. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the decade from 2000 to 2010 was the warmest on record.

    The sun has natural periods of warming and cooling,but due to no increase in solar energy for the past 50 years the warming we are feeling is consistent with the amount of carbon dioxide and other heat trapping elements we are putting into the atmosphere. Warmer temperatures increases the amount of water vapor in the air. Water vapor is a greenhouse gas, along with carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone, meaning that it leads to even further warming. Water vapor magnifies the warming caused by the other greenhouse gases.

     A change of just one or two degrees may sound small,but it creates a huge impact on the way we and the living things around us act and survive. For about every 2 degrees Fahrenheit of warming 15% of the crops we grow will die, there will be a 10% increase in the amount of rain falling during the heaviest precipitation events, and a 400% increase in the amount of wildfires in parts of the western United States.

     Many people don’t care about climate change or just don’t think it is really happening, but there are ways you can help slow it down or even stop global warming.For example, Transportation causes about 25 per cent of the United State’s greenhouse gas emissions, so walk, cycle or take transit whenever you can. You'll save money and get into better shape! Another example of how to prevent climate change is, switching off lights,change light bulbs to compact fluorescents or LEDs, unplug computers, TVs and other electronics when not in use, and wash clothes in cold or warm (not hot) water.

        Climate change is affecting the way we live, how animals live, and even how plants live.Because of the sun’s consistency when it comes to the amount of heat it gives off, people are making our world warmer.A slight change in temperature can cause major problems like dying crops.There are many ways to stop or slow global warming and we are yet to find out more.

                  Have you ever wondered why teenagers are doing drugs these days.Teenagers are the future of America.Teenagers are also influenced by the things happening in the modern world.Some teens even try to fit in the modern world where they will be accepted by other people.As you get older and go into high school they will try things.As they do they will feel comfortable and feel accepted.They could also try drugs just to feel the experience.It could lead up to an addiction.If it leads up to an addiction it may lead up to problems. 

One solution to fix this is to banish drugs.Drugs can be anywhere.On the street,abandoned houses,woods,etc.If a teen finds drug anywhere this can lead up to problems.Once this happens your grades could drop and you could fail school.Using or trying these drugs can affect your personality.Also it could make you suicidal.

Another way is for guidance counselor to discuss drugs.To tell you why not to drugs.To not fall into the peer pressure.Also in case you have any questions about drugs you should ask your guidance counselor.Also you can share your thoughts or feelings about drugs. 

Another way to fix these is to increase laws and punishments for selling,buying,or having drugs.Laws should increase the age of how old you have to be to buy tobacco,etc.If you get caught selling or having drugs at school or anywhere they should increase the punishments.They should make teens for having drugs at school or selling them be punished.Also selling drugs is wrong if you give it to adolescents.This can affect their brain and behavior.

In conclusion,drugs are bad.More laws and punishments should be made.If you have any thoughts or feelings,concerns about drugs ask your guidance counselor.The government should banish drugs.To protect teens and children of America so they do not end up having any problems in their future lie a divorce or an abortion.

                                                              Pollution!

     One problem we face is the problem of pollution!This problem hurts the economy and also the animals we must end this and I know how!When we pollute animals can die from it and that is not what we want to have happen.One way we harm this animals is by when we get the coke cans with the plastic rings,after we finish the coke what do we do with the rings well some people like to throw it and then the birds or the pelicans stick their heads in it and die. Then pollution can also effect our economy by our trucks make air pollution.

     There are many pollutions air pollution is one of them it can be caused by trucks, factories, and cars those all depletes the ozone. Trucks cause pollution by the smoke coming from it that would fall under air pollution which does not help us at all. Factories cause air pollution by the smoke coming from inside of the workshop. Then there is cars which we use every day and there are like 100,000,000 being used in one day that is a lot of air pollution because it cant just go away it goes in the air which thats pollution so together thats air pollution.

     Pollution can effect our animals too like birds, seagulls, fish, etc. They find so trash you or somebody left think its food but when they eat it they could die or choke. So lets say a bird saw a plastic wrapper to a twix bar and go then eat it that bird will most likely die because of that one wrapper. Make a change if you love animals then don't pollute it harms them and you know when you go to the zoo and it says endangered well most likely those animals got shot or ate some trash so pollution can harm animals.

     Pollution can also be in water like lakes by our trash like food, and oil and other substances. However have you been to a lake and seen these bubbles but the water was still most likely those are pollution bubbles and if you look in one you see dirt and pollution also this harms our sea animals. If you look closely you may tend to see bones and those are dead animals or rather dead fish.

    So as I stat that pollution is bad you need to think before you dump your trash in water or on sidewalks or public because that hurts our economy more than you think.

                                         BULLYING                                   

 

     Maybe kids bully simply because they are bothered by other peoples characteristics? What exactly is the definition of a bully? A bully is a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who are weaker. A bully can be any person from any grade from preschool all the way to adulthood. Bullying is a violent action and needs to eventually stop and piece should be made.                                                                            
    First, I think what will stop bullying is giving Harsher Punishments. One reasonable consequence would be longer detention, Maybe It should last two hours? Others would include include longer suspensions, getting expelled based on how badly you bullied. The last two are, In School Suspension (ISS) for more than one day, and and privileges being taken away. Examples include, not being allowed to go on field trips, not being able to participate in Pep Rallies, etc.
     The next thing that I think will stop bullying is regularly scheduled principal inspections. One example would be daily inspection. Others would include semesterly and yearly, so they could keep

an eye on the hallways. I also feel that there should be at least one administrator on every hallway. People should always be watching.
     The last thing that I think will stop bullying is positive reinforcement, which includes things like, "Good job" or  "Nice Work" would help, or maybe "Congratulations" or  "High Five". Positive reinforcement could help make a bully fell better about themselves, which in turn, might stop bullying all together. Also, I think adults should have the bully put themselves in the victim's shoes. Finally, it is very important to relax the bully.
     In closing, I feel that Harsher Punishments, Principal Inspection, and Positive reinforcement are all ways you could stop bullying. Is it fun to be bullied? No. Bullies always end up in trouble, so never be a bully. So whenever you or another person get bullied, I hope these suggestions come in handy.

Preventing Child Predators

              Children who access dangerous websites are easily subjected to child predators.  Child predators pose as many different people to lure young boys and girls on social media websites. Parents need to get more involved to prevent this from happening.  Three possible solutions are blocking websites, setting up parental controls on all electronic devices,  and not allowing independent internet surfing.

           The first way to prevent child predators is by blocking certain websites.  A way that can contribute to blocking websites is by having the government assist to this.  The government needs to regulate and approve all websites before putting them online.  Adult websites should require you to scan your drivers license to verify your age.  This would make it more difficult for children to access dangerous websites. Blocking websites can keep children away from dangerous websites.

          The next helpful solution would be by installing parental controls on all devices.  Parents should have the ability to password protect their children's internet accounts.  Parents should also have the ability to access their children's text messages online without their children knowing.  These parental controls could help prevent child predators from gaining information on their children.  This will also allow parents to look over the internet accounts to see who their children follow and who follows them.  Installing parental controls can give parents the power to protect their children.  

        The final helpful solution would be to prevent individual internet surfing. Parents should have designated areas around the house for internet surfing, such as the living room or in the kitchen.  Cell phones should be password protected so that children will only be able to access internet at home.  Free wifi should be banned for minors because they may not have adult supervision in public.  Preventing individual internet surfing will tremendously protect children from child predators.

         In conclusion, children can be protected from child predators by not allowing individual internet surfing, blocking certain websites, and by installing parental controls. These three things will greatly limit access to dangerous websites.  The government and parents can also play a major roll in preventing child predators. These solutions will help protect all children.

                                Concussions in Football

There are many concussions yearly in football. Researchers want to know if we can decrease a lot of the numbers. Is this becoming a problem? Can researchers find a solution to this problem? Will they ever call football safe? 

     In youth football, is when you learn the basics in football. This should be your starting point. Starting at a young age is best your child to help them learn the game and protect themselves from injury. Football is a great way to keep kids out of trouble. Concussions mainly occur in youth football, when a player does not know what they are doing.

     Middle school football and high school football is when you have to get tough and very aggressive. Middle school and high school has the most reported concussions yearly. These concussions mainly happen when football players are doing hitting drills, tackling drills, and scrimmages or(ing). These injuries are common because you get more aggressive. In high school you start lifting weights to build up your muscles. This can help you become stronger, so you might be able to take a harder hit.

     In college football and the NFL you get a mix of injuries like a torn hamstring, broken leg, ruptured spleen, ect. You will get a concussion still, but you might have a higher chance of suffering a different injury. These groups have physical trainers, that can tell signs of a concussion. If they think you have one, they will take you out of the game into the locker room and a clinic-type room.

     In conclusion, you want to know how tell signs of a concussion. Concussions can cause severe brain damage and can even lead to paralysis. Researchers and scientists are looking and working on technology to reduce and possibly stop concussions in football. If you already suffered a concussion, your chances are high on getting another one. CONCUSSION NUMBERS NEED TO GO DOWN PERIOD!!!

     Racism in this country is a big problem.  I have a big problem with the way people look at others.  Racism is not just a black and white problem.  Racism effects all kinds of people.  Racism is about discrimination, about the way people look and the way they think.


     Racism can be about the color of your skin.  African americans sometimes still get discriminated against because of their skin color.  There are people who still do not believe that african americans are equal to other races.  We have a african american president but still people discriminate against african americans.


     Racism happens with other races too.  Latinos get discriminated against too.  People are always thinking that they are in this country illegally.  People from the middle east get discriminated against too.  People always think that they are terrorists.



     Racism can happen with religion too.  Some people discriminate you because what religion you are.
People of the jewish religion get discriminated against because they do not believe in jesus.  The muslim religion gets discriminated against because people look at it as the terrorist religion.


     Racism can stop but only when everyone looks at everyone equal.  There is so many bigger problems in this world.  We should not care what color your skin is.  We should not care what religion you are. People should only care about what kind of person you are.  I wish there was not racism in this world but there is.  I don't think their is a cure for racism.  People are gone think the way they want to but maybe one day people will realize its not their place to judge and every one will unite, but until that day we will fight racism one step at a time.

                                                                          Bullying


    Pow! A student has just been punched right in the nose. Students are laughing, the kid is bleeding, teachers are ignoring. Tragic right? You do not realize it but these kind of things happen to some kids at school in their daily lives ; this is called bullying. Bullying in schools is one of the most important problems in this world , but it does have a solutions. These solutions include letting bullies know how victims feel , making punishments more harsh , and lastly send bullies to counselors. All these solutions will contribute to the overcoming of bullying in schools.

   The first solution is to let the bullies know how the victims feel. You can do this by having the victims confront the bullies. If that does not work you can always show them videos of bullying victims. Showing bullies how the victims feel should make them realize that they would not want to be treated that way. Once they realize that then hopefully they will follow the golden rule and treat others how they want to be treated. This is the first way to end bullying.

   The second solution is to make punishments harsher for bullies. According to research and my prior knowledge bullies just get detention. People get detention for things like talking out of turn and chewing gum. Bullying does not fall under that category. It is much more serious than that. Therefore the punishments for bullying should be more harsher than detention. The punishments should be more like in school suspension. If you make the punishments more harsh then bullies will realize bullying is not worth being suspended. Then they will hopefully stop bullying because no one likes to be suspend. This is the second solution for bullying.

   The last solution is to send bullies to counselors. According to research , I have found that nine times out of ten bullies are going through something bad. These situations can include parents going through divorce , family member died , or maybe even worse. I have learned that when they are going through these life changing experiences it drives them to make someone else's life as miserable as their own because they don't want to be the only one going through a tragic  experience. Counselors can help bullies understand that there are other ways to get through their crisis besides bullying. This is why we should send bullies to counselors.

   You now know that bullying can be overcame. Bullying can be overcame by sending bullies to counselors, making punishments more harsh, and showing bullies how victims feel. These are just a few ways to resolve this problem. There are a lot more but these are the most beneficial. Sooner or later bullying in schools will be resolved because it does have a solution. It is important that  bullying is resolved because nobody should have to be treated poorly in a place where they are supposed to be learning.

     A boy any where in the world.Starving, body like a skeleton, no food and no water for miles. About    
805 million people suffer from hunger from the 7.3 billion people in the world. Most suffer from chronic undernourishment. Almost all the hungry people live in developing countries. There are many reasons for world hunger.For example, poverty and poor landscaping are two examples. I will talk about the effects of hunger, how to fix it, and why you should care.


    Hunger affects people in many ways. Hunger of course, can kill. If people don't eat, they become more vulnerable to diseases and many types of sickness. It also makes people more vulnerable to infection. People who suffer from hunger don't get enough proteins, nutrients, and vitamins they need to be healthy and fit. Children need all these things in order to grow. There is also a high infant mortality rate.


    You should care because of many reasons. People have no energy. Imagine all those people too  weak to even swat flies away from them. People don't know when their next meal will be. It could be in 1 hour or 1 whole week. Full grown adults can live 2 weeks without food. People could also live 1 month while eating small solid substances each day.


    There's many ways to help end world hunger. You could donate canned food or food in general to the hungry. Another good way to end world hunger is access to credit. If people don't have credit, people can't start up industries to help fight hunger. Urban farming is also a good way to end hunger. Mostly all the hungry people live in urban areas. People can start urban farms and grow food to give to the hungry.


    Hunger is a terrible thing. People don't have to suffer to do a simple thing like getting food. People should not have to beg for food. People die because of hunger. People don't deserve death because of food. People who aren't starving have a privilege because we don't have to worry about food.We can just go to the kitchen and grab food. Other people don't have that privilege. Hunger can stop. We can help and lower the number of hungry people in the world now.
